I have C-PTSD and grew up in a neglectful, unsafe household, and those traumas followed me everywhere. For years, I suffered from anxiety, stress, codependency, and depression that left me feeling irrevocably broken.
While yoga and meditation were always beacons of light in the darkness, it wasn't until I discovered somatic therapies and connected somatics with the ancient wisdom of yoga that I began to truly heal, feel internally safe, and find my authentic self.
I am a trauma survivor, but I now call myself a Trauma Thriver because I'm finally coming out the other side. I only ever wanted to thrive in life and deeply wish the same for others.
